[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Empark has joined the mobile used car platform 'Cheotcha'.

On the 3rd, Empark announced that it has partnered with Cheotcha and that 'Empark Home Service' will be the first to open in the newly established 'Home Service Specialty Section' on Cheotcha. Empark Home Service is an online used car consultation and purchase service. It is the first in the used car industry to introduce real-time video consultation for non-face-to-face purchase services.

The vehicles eligible for Empark Home Service on Cheotcha are those whose quality is guaranteed through certification at Empark's directly managed performance inspection center. When selecting a desired vehicle on the Cheotcha application, customers are connected to a professional consultant from Empark Home Service. Customers can receive ample information about the vehicle on the spot through purchase consultations conducted via real-time video calls.

An Empark official said, "Through the partnership with Cheotcha, we expect the channels for consumers who find it difficult to visit used car sales complexes to purchase vehicles non-face-to-face to expand," adding, "We will continue to explore various ways to improve accessibility to used car purchases."

Meanwhile, Empark is the first corporate-type used car sales complex in Korea, established in 2011. It leads the creation of a transparent used car trading culture by building its own system to provide accurate vehicle information and establishing services to fundamentally block false listings. More detailed information can be found on the Empark website.
