[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 2nd that it will completely revamp and newly launch its internet homepage.
The revamped homepage will start normal service by redesigning the website with a user-centered approach to improve public web services suitable for the untact era.
Accordingly, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education main homepage, the Education Information All homepage, and the Information Disclosure homepage will be operated separately, significantly enhancing user accessibility by separating menus frequently visited by students, parents, the general public, and faculty members.
The main homepage will focus on civil complaints, reports, suggestions, exams, recruitment information, and promotions frequently accessed by the general public, while the Education Information All homepage will operate distinctive projects of the Provincial Office of Education such as Jeonnam-type Future Schools, After-School Programs, and the Teacher Healing Center.
The Information Disclosure homepage contains educational information statistics and integrity-related information. Additionally, starting next year, financial information will be automatically posted by linking with K-EduFine (Education Financial Management System), which is expected to help reduce school administrative workload.
The new homepage is created as a responsive web that adapts to mobile, tablet, and PC browsers, and uses larger fonts than before to improve readability.
Yoon Myung-sik, head of the Budget Division, said, “Through the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education homepage, we will expand user-centered satisfactory two-way communication and sharing, and continuously strive to improve the level of content and services.”
