Mercedes-Benz Extends Special Subsidy for The New EQC Until the End of November

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 2nd that it will extend the 'The New EQC Special Promotion,' which provides subsidies to customers purchasing the premium pure electric vehicle The New EQC, until the 30th.

Mercedes-Benz Korea decided to offer a special subsidy for customers purchasing The New EQC who are unable to receive government subsidies due to the early closure of the 2020 low-emission vehicle purchase subsidy program in some areas, including Seoul. The special subsidy is set at 10.8 million KRW, allowing customers to purchase The New EQC at the same price as if they had received the government subsidy.

The New EQC, first launched domestically in October last year, is the EQ brand's first pure electric vehicle, featuring unique interior and exterior designs, dynamic performance based on a completely new drive system, and various conveniences.

The New EQC is sold in two detailed models: 'The New EQC 400 4MATIC' and 'The New EQC 400 4MATIC Premium,' which enhances convenience features such as a head-up display and ventilated seats. With the special subsidy, they can be purchased for 84.7 million KRW and 90.6 million KRW, respectively. Additionally, customers who trade in their existing vehicles through the trade-in program receive an extra benefit of 3 million KRW.

Using Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Korea's special 2.99% installment financing promotion for the EQC, 'The New EQC 400 4MATIC' can be obtained with a monthly payment of 1,630,000 KRW, and 'The New EQC 400 4MATIC Premium' with 1,749,840 KRW (based on 36 months and 30% down payment).

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea provides all EQC purchasers with either free installation of a Mercedes-Benz home charger or a prepaid card that allows unlimited free charging at public charging stations for one year, ensuring a hassle-free charging experience.
