[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the morning of the 31st, Yudonggyun, Mayor of Mapo District, attended a walking event on Mapo Naru-gil, one of the 10 Selected Walking Paths in Mapo.

The 10 Selected Walking Paths in Mapo are composed of 10 walking courses featuring attractions that offer a glimpse into Mapo's history, culture, and resources.

On this day, Mayor Yudonggyun participated in the Mapo Naru-gil walking event, which includes historic sites near the old Mapo Naru such as Asodang Site, Mapo Food Culture Street, Jeonggujung House, Statue of Tojeong Lee Ji-ham, Mapo Terminal Entrance, and Seokbulsa Temple, walking together with residents.

The district is promoting 10 Selected Walking Paths featuring representative local attractions, including Gyeongui Line Forest Trail, Ahyeon-dong Hill Path, Mapo Naru-gil, Mapo Hangang-gil, Wow! Hongdae-gil, Mangwon Hangang-gil, Seongmisan Neighborhood Path, Hangang-gil along the Stream, Sky Sunset Path, and Maebong Sangam-gil.

Mayor Yudonggyun of Mapo District said, "I hope that residents, exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, find mental and physical peace by walking these beautiful scenic and notable paths in Mapo."
