[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On the morning of October 31, the last day of October, frost is expected to form across various parts of the country, with some areas likely to experience ice formation.

On Sunday, November 1, rain is expected to fall across most regions nationwide, starting from the central region.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted on the 30th that on the 31st, morning temperatures will drop below 5 degrees Celsius mainly inland, causing frost. Eastern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and mountainous areas are expected to record temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius, leading to ice formation.

The temperature difference between day and night is expected to be large, ranging from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.

The morning low temperatures by region are expected to range from 1 to 12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius.

From dawn to morning on the 31st, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in eastern Gyeonggi and inland Gangwon, while inland Chungcheong and southern inland areas may experience fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer.

Especially in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, due to the influence of low cloud layers, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected from the night of the 30th until the next morning, so caution is advised for traffic safety.

From the afternoon of the 31st, clouds will gradually increase, and on November 1, the entire country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.

The rain will begin on the morning of November 1 in northern Gyeonggi and northern Yeongseo of Gangwon, spreading in the morning to other central regions and Jeonbuk, and in the afternoon to Jeonnam and inland Gyeongbuk.

For Seoul, this will be the first rain in 32 days since September 30.

The rain will mostly stop by the night of the same day, but it may continue until dawn the next day in Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and inland Gyeongbuk.

The expected morning low temperatures on November 1 are 6 to 13 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs are 13 to 20 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration emphasized that the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, where a dry weather warning is in effect, have very dry air, and other regions are also dry, so special attention should be paid to preventing wildfires and other fire hazards.
