"'Switzerland of Korea' Kensington Resort Seorak Valley, 1st Anniversary Package Sale"

"'Switzerland of Korea' Kensington Resort Seorak Valley, 1st Anniversary Package Sale"

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Kensington Hotel & Resort will offer the "I Love Seorak Valley Package" for one month from the 1st to the 30th of next month to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the opening of "Kensington Resort Seorak Valley."

Opened last November in Goseong, Gangwon-do, Kensington Resort Seorak Valley was built as the "Healing Forest in Little Switzerland." Since its opening, it has recorded full occupancy daily and has established itself as a representative luxury resort in the Gangwon-do region.

The 1st anniversary commemorative package includes a one-night stay and a Kensington gift set. The gift set consists of an umbrella, an eco bag, two cans of craft beer, and one set of natural cosmetics from the brand "Beaudiani Amenity." The first 100 rooms booked will also receive one "Kensington Frame Photo Prop" and one set of "1st Anniversary Commemorative Cookies." Prices start from 199,000 KRW including tax.

Kensington Resort Seorak Valley is a standalone luxury resort located in approximately 300,000 pyeong of nature reminiscent of the great outdoors of Switzerland. The rooms, restaurants, facilities, and experiential outdoor content are designed with harmony with nature as a priority, reflecting the lifestyle of customers seeking healing in nature. Especially, with the recent increase in demand for contactless untact travel, it allows guests to enjoy "private travel" minimizing contact with others, gaining popularity as an "untact healing travel destination."

In January, based on big data analysis and customer surveys, two types of kids-only rooms were opened. The "Pirate Ship Kids Room," themed as "an explorer searching for hidden treasures under the sea," and the "My Car Kids Room," themed as "Dream Car Travel." The German premium baby product brand "Chic for Baby" provides free rental of the baby wagon "Pompora Wagon." This allows families to comfortably stroll around the resort surrounded by nature with their children.

There are also nature-linked contents. These include a "Private Barbecue Party" enjoyed exotically on the outdoor terrace, the "Forest Trail" leading to Geumgangsan Hwaamsa Temple, the "Sinseonho" where guests can enjoy a leisurely daytime walk and a colorful laser light show at night, the "Cheonjinchon Water Deck" overlooking Cheonjinchon Stream and waterfall, a healing hammock zone, sky observatory, Swiss Valley photo zone, and deer and sheep farms. Next year, plans include introducing the "Chef's Garden," where food is made and served using freshly harvested vegetables, as well as nighttime lighting contents such as the "Light Garden" and "Street of Light."

The general manager of Kensington Resort Seorak Valley said, "We are grateful for the support from our customers over the past year," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide the best service and content through various attempts to enhance customer satisfaction."
