[Concall] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering "This Year's Target Order Volume Reduced by 30%... Achievable Goal"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering stated in the Q3 earnings conference call held on the 30th that "due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the order target for this year has been reduced by about 30% compared to the beginning of the year."

Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering explained, "The order target for Hyundai Heavy Industries Group's shipbuilding companies this year has been revised from the original $15.994 billion to around $10.2 billion," adding, "Many large container ship projects are emerging, and we believe that multiple large LNG ship orders are possible besides Mozambique."
