[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Hanwha Engineering & Construction announced on the 30th that it has developed the lifestyle characters "Porena Friends" for its residential brand "Porena."
Porena Friends are characters with diverse personalities that simply and stylishly depict neighbors living in spaces where the value of life is realized in daily life.
Inspired by the combination of the basic architectural elements "circle" and "pillar," dynamic yet friendly characters were created, and the Porena blue color was applied to strengthen the brand image.
Porena Friends has completed the design development of over 100 types across 8 characters, capturing various neighbors in everyday life. The character images, composed of men and women of different generations, kids, and pets, can be used "separately or together," making them applicable in various fields.
This lifestyle character was developed to enhance the brand experience of Hanwha E&C's new residential brand Porena and will be primarily applied in shared spaces such as Porena parking lots, bicycle storage, rest areas, and staircases. It is expected to play a role in conveying Porena's unique emotional consideration to buildings that might otherwise feel dry.
Hanwha E&C, having completed copyright registration for Porena Friends this year, plans to utilize the characters in future Porena new products to facilitate easy and quick understanding of the products.
Meanwhile, Hanwha E&C launched Porena in August last year and has been continuing efforts to differentiate its residential brand. It is accelerating product differentiation through Porena signature diffusers, indoor robot delivery, safety doors preventing infant finger entrapment, and Porena exteriors to enhance brand experience.
Yoon Yong-sang, Head of Hanwha E&C's Architecture Business Division, said, "If 2020 was the year to introduce the new residential brand Porena, 2021 will be the year when Porena's product competitiveness is recognized by customers," adding, "We will continue to unveil new Porena products."
Porena Friends can first be seen at "Porena Gwanggyo," "Porena Yeongdeungpo," and "Porena Nowon," where move-ins have begun.
