[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] MG Insurance announced on the 30th that it will launch a direct cancer insurance policy that strengthens coverage for the three major diseases: cancer, brain, and heart.
This is an online-exclusive product available for subscription from ages 19 to 49, allowing customers to choose between the Cancer Plan and the Diagnosis Expense Plan, with expanded coverage for the three major diseases as a key feature.
In particular, it provides coverage for cerebrovascular disease diagnosis expenses and ischemic heart disease diagnosis expenses, maximizing protection for the brain and heart, and adds benefits such as direct cancer treatment hospitalization expenses, cancer/brain/heart disease surgery expenses, and chemotherapy, radiation, and drug treatment expenses.
Since it is purchased directly online, the premiums are affordable, and with a non-renewable plan, coverage can be maintained without premium changes up to age 100.
An MG Insurance official stated, "As average lifespan and medical expenses gradually increase, preparing for the three major diseases is not a choice but a necessity," adding, "This product will reliably cover the three major diseases of Koreans from start to finish."
