'What Party Are You From?' [Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seul-gi] As the Seocho District Office in Seoul announced it would remove the "Support for Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol" wreaths placed at the entrance of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, on the 30th, Seocho District Mayor Cho Eun-hee revealed that she is receiving a flood of text message attacks from conservative supporters.

On the same day, Mayor Cho said in an interview with MBC Radio's "Kim Jong-bae's Focus" that messages such as "'Cho Eun-hee, which party are you from?', 'I am disappointed', 'I withdraw my support for Cho Eun-hee'" are predominant.

Mayor Cho stated, "I believe that law and principles must be fair. If you favor your side and are harsh on the opposing side, that is discriminatory rule of law," adding, "I think such unfairness itself is populism."

She continued, "I take a stance of applying principles fairly without distinguishing between my side and the other side. In August, we issued four administrative orders to remove over 200 illegal banners and tents in front of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office and the Supreme Court, during which the confrontation was even more intense than now, but we managed to resolve it smoothly," and said, "So I want to say that things are different when Cho Eun-hee is involved. We will gather wisdom and resolve this well so that the public does not feel uncomfortable."

She added, "I heard last night that Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol told conservative groups to voluntarily remove the wreaths and cooperate with the Seocho District Office," and said, "I believe they will voluntarily remove them early next week."

Meanwhile, more than 300 wreaths are lined up along the road from the main gate of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to the Supreme Court and Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.

Earlier, Seocho District sent administrative execution warning letters to the conservative groups "Patriotic Patrol Team" and "Freedom Solidarity," stating, "If voluntary removal is not done by the 28th, the wreaths placed on both sides of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office main gate will be forcibly removed."
