Gwanak-gu's 'Gang Gam-chan Quarantine Supplies Package' Receives High Response from Businesses

Direct Delivery of Quarantine Supply Packages to 985 Private Multi-use Facilities in the Area... Guidance on Mandatory Mask-Wearing Administrative Order and Inspection of Compliance with Core Quarantine Rules

Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) announced that since the 26th, it has been supporting the ‘Gang Gam-chan Quarantine Supplies Package’ to 985 private multi-use facilities in the area.

This is to support quarantine supplies to private multi-use facilities such as PC rooms and karaoke rooms, which are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to encourage continuous quarantine activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the local community.

The district formed a total of 24 members in the quarantine supplies support team, organized into 12 pairs, and directly visits 302 karaoke rooms, 144 PC rooms, 59 cultural distribution facilities, 335 sports facilities, and 145 indoor sports facilities in the area to deliver the quarantine supplies packages.

The quarantine supplies package consists of 5 masks, 2 disinfectants, and 1 hand sanitizer. The district plans to complete the delivery of the Gang Gam-chan quarantine supplies packages to all private multi-use facilities by November 6.

Meanwhile, along with providing supplies, the district is also conducting inspections to ensure compliance with quarantine rules. Following the mandatory mask-wearing enforcement starting November 13, guidance and inspections are being carried out targeting private multi-use facilities in the area.

The district is making various efforts to break the chain of prolonged COVID-19 by thoroughly inspecting compliance with core quarantine rules such as mask-wearing administrative orders, social distancing, and visitor log entries.

District Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “We prepared the Gang Gam-chan quarantine supplies package to offer a small help in quarantining private multi-use facilities affected by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. We will do our best to end COVID-19 as soon as possible through daily life quarantine support and to make Gwanak-gu a safe place.”
