New Album, Scholarship Awarded to Winners of the 'Thank You Letter Writing Contest'

Awarding the Shinbo Chairman's Prize and a 300,000 KRW Scholarship to 5 Winners

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund held an awards ceremony on the 29th at the Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund headquarters for elementary, middle, and high school students in the district who won prizes in the ‘5th Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Thank You Letter Writing Contest.’

This contest was hosted by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, the Ministry of Education, and EBS, with participation from 17 city and provincial education offices nationwide as well as official sponsors including Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund. This year, Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund participated as the sole official sponsor in the Daegu region.

In this Daegu regional contest, approximately 33,000 elementary, middle, and high school students in the district applied. After judging by Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund employees and university student volunteers, five final winning works were selected. At the awards ceremony, Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund presented the Chairman’s Award along with a scholarship of 300,000 KRW and school supplies to five winners, including student Park Jun-seo (3rd year at Daegu Health School).

Park Jun-seo, who received the Chairman’s Award, said, “I am really happy to receive an award at such a meaningful event,” and added, “Through this event, I was able to sincerely express my gratitude to my grandmother who has lovingly raised me for the past three years.” A Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund official said, “We were moved to tears while judging the thank you letters,” and added, “Shinhan Credit Guarantee Fund will continue to carry out various activities for local youth.”
