Among the 9 confirmed cases on that day, 6 cases numbered 330 to 335 tested positive in connection with the cluster infection at ‘Lucky Sauna’ (213 Nonhyeon-ro).
Since the first confirmed case on the 27th, a total of 19 confirmed cases related to ‘Lucky Sauna’ have been identified, of which 15 are residents of Gangnam-gu.
This includes 4 secondary infections among family members and acquaintances.
Visitors to ‘Lucky Sauna’ from the 18th to the 27th of this month are requested to visit the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center by the 30th to undergo mandatory specimen testing.
Case number 328 was confirmed through contact with a previously confirmed Gangnam-gu resident, while the infection routes of cases 327 and 329 are unknown and currently under epidemiological investigation.
We will promptly disclose any additional contacts or movement paths if identified through the epidemiological investigation.
Jung Soon-gyun, the district mayor, said, "We ask all Gangnam-gu residents to strictly follow personal hygiene rules, and those in self-quarantine to adhere well to self-care guidelines, so that we can cooperate to reduce confirmed cases in Gangnam."
