The 'SoBuJang Strong SMEs 100' aims to intensively nurture domestic SoBuJang specialized small and medium enterprises to increase the self-reliance of the domestic SoBuJang industry sector and contribute to the creation of future new industries. To this end, the project provides up to KRW 18.2 billion in government support over five years after selection, which can be used for research and development and other purposes.
A company official stated, "Based on this selection, we intend to further strengthen the self-reliance in the domestic secondary battery and display equipment sectors and take this as an opportunity to be more active in the global market."
Ninetech, established in 2007, initially focused on the display manufacturing equipment business. Due to the nature of equipment companies being heavily influenced by the upstream industry, it successfully diversified its business by entering the secondary battery sector as part of its business diversification strategy.
Recently, the secondary battery business division has become the core business, and through continuous research and development and business development, the company is expanding its scope into areas such as semiconductor parts business.
