Sparrow announced on the 29th that it has secured numerous new customers for its dynamic analysis solution, 'Sparrow DAST.'

Recently, hacking attempts exploiting web application vulnerabilities have frequently occurred, increasing the demand for dynamic analysis tools that check for security vulnerabilities during the testing phase after software (SW) development. Sparrow supplies Sparrow DAST to various sectors including public institutions such as the Ministry of Justice, Korea Rural Community Corporation, Jeollabuk-do Office of Education Research and Information Service, as well as telecommunications companies and IT firms.

Sparrow DAST is a dynamic analysis tool that detects security vulnerabilities present in web applications. It offers an analysis speed more than 30% faster than competing tools and provides a system that allows convenient review of analysis results. It supports analysis of not only basic HTTP messages but also the latest technologies such as HTML5 and AJAX. Through the TrueScan feature, it can directly analyze the internal operation processes of servers. In particular, it can reproduce the attack process of discovered vulnerabilities, enabling users to easily identify the causes of vulnerabilities and take measures even without related background knowledge.
