[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 29th that it has conducted a campaign to comply with COVID-19 prevention rules and mandatory mask-wearing, focusing on multi-use facilities such as neighborhood parks and traditional markets.
On the 28th, the campaign was carried out targeting tourists, residents, and merchants around Namsan Park Chrysanthemum Hill in Hwasun-eup, where the 'advance reservation system for viewing' is in effect, and the Hwasun Goindol Traditional Market area on market day.
About 30 people, including county officials, volunteer firefighters, and safety security officers, participated in the campaign, distributing leaflets and masks informing about COVID-19 prevention rules and mandatory mask-wearing in daily life.
At Namsan Park Chrysanthemum Hill, the campaign actively promoted '2m social distancing,' and at Goindol Traditional Market, it emphasized the practice of 'mandatory mask-wearing.'
A county official said, “As social distancing has been adjusted to level 1, we will actively promote not only COVID-19 prevention campaigns but also safety campaigns such as wildfire prevention and winter disaster damage prevention. We ask for cooperation so that COVID-19 prevention rules and a safety culture are established in daily life.”
