Uljugun to Hold Interim Report Meeting on Complex Development Basic Plan Research Project on the 29th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan Ulju-gun held an interim report meeting on the basic plan for the development of the Sampyeong District Smart Farm Complex on the 29th.

The report meeting for the smart farm project, which Ulju-gun is promoting as a plan to increase residents' income through the development and revitalization of the 6th industry strategic district, was attended by Lee Seon-ho, the head of Ulju-gun, research agencies, participating committee members, and about 20 young farmers.

This research project was conducted to develop the Onsan Sampyeong area into a smart farm complex using renewable energy from the nearby Onsan Industrial Complex.

The interim report meeting was an opportunity to review the progress made so far, address shortcomings, and focus on key tasks to be promoted. The research project is scheduled to be completed by the end of December.

The project is being undertaken by Smart Farm Center Co., Ltd., located in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Ulju-gun's key requirements for the research project include the creation of a smart farm complex utilizing renewable energy, plans for national government project applications related to this, and the development of Ulju-type 6th industry policies.

Upon completion of the final research project in December, Ulju-gun plans to actively promote the project by establishing a future-oriented agricultural new income creation system based on the development of the Ulju-gun 6th industry complex and income increase plans related to smart farms using renewable energy.
