[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute (KFTC) announced on the 29th that it will completely revamp the Account Info mobile app and hold an event offering prizes such as department store gift certificates and coffee mobile coupons through a lottery for users.
Account Info is a service that allows users to view their financial information under their name all at once with a single login. The KFTC has focused on expanding the scope of financial information provided (accounts, automatic transfers, cards, card points, insurance, loan details, etc.) and has promoted a full overhaul of the mobile app focusing on convenience improvements to resolve user inconveniences and reflect improvement suggestions.
The main improvements include ▲ menu and personal settings for financial institutions (favorites) ▲ introduction of facial recognition and other authentication function enhancements ▲ batch inquiry of detailed account information (account number, balance, etc.) ▲ saving inquiry results as PDF and visual image implementation.
Users who are not Account Info members can participate in the event by registering for new use of the mobile app, and existing users will be automatically entered if they log in for three or more days during the event period. The event period is from the distribution of the new app until November 30.
A KFTC official stated, "We will continue to improve the service in cooperation with financial authorities and participating financial institutions to enhance financial consumers' access to financial information and convenience in asset management."
