Gaon Broadband Supplies Untact Solution 'KRMS' to the United States

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Kaon Broadband, a network solution specialist company, announced on the 29th that it will supply the remote control network terminal management solution KRMS (Kaon Remote Management System) to broadcasting and telecommunications operators under the U.S. NCTC (National Cable Television Cooperative) association and officially start the service.

Kaon Broadband is a subsidiary of AI solution company Kaon Media and signed a partnership agreement with the NCTC association last February. Through this KRMS supply, it will provide not only wireless AP and OTT-related service products but also its self-developed management solution.

NCTC is a coalition of over 750 broadband and cable operators in the U.S., providing OTT and broadband-related solutions nationwide.

The remote control terminal management service 'KRMS' is evaluated as an optimized solution that remotely checks product status for customer issues reported via wired connections and immediately resolves problems, simultaneously bringing investment and operational cost reduction effects.

This service frees users from spatial and temporal constraints, enabling monitoring and control of devices anytime and anywhere, and provides various solutions to improve customer satisfaction, including management and analysis. It supports perfect compatibility through data communication methods and monitoring data models applying international standard specifications.

Additionally, it uniquely possesses differentiated competitiveness in Korea by being able to monitor both STB (set-top box) and BB (broadband) products together, which is considered an advantage in competition with existing solution specialists.

Currently, sales contracts for the 'KRMS' solution have been completed in major countries including the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and there are plans to expand the supply range to Asia and Oceania regions. In the future, services capable of pre-diagnosis and resolution by integrating AI technology will be added, and the scope of use is expected to expand further in line with the untact era.
