[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Hyundai Glovis announced on the 29th that on the 27th, it distributed safe driving supplies to transportation workers using a 'drive-through' method at the Cheongju Cargo Terminal located in Cheongju, Chungbuk, in preparation for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Hyundai Glovis, through this sharing event, safe driving supplies were distributed to about 500 cargo truck drivers affiliated with the cargo terminal. The safe driving supply set included six items: anti-drowsiness gum and candy, ice patches, hand acupressure devices, portable neck pillows, vehicle sunshades, as well as KF94 masks and hand sanitizers to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Hyundai Glovis plans to deliver a total of 15,000 safe driving supply sets to drivers in various occupations throughout this year, including this event. In September, 7,000 sets were delivered to transportation workers through a non-face-to-face method, and in the future, 6,500 sets will be sent by courier to 43 cargo terminals nationwide.
A Hyundai Glovis official stated, "We are distributing safe driving supply sets to promote safety on the roads used by all of us," and added, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities that can coexist with all stakeholders."
