[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Pulmuone is partnering with the Army Personnel Command to recruit soldiers scheduled for discharge.

Pulmuone Food & Culture, a lifestyle service company affiliated with Pulmuone, announced on the 29th that it signed a business agreement at the Army Personnel Command's Creative Hall in Gyeryong-si, Chungnam, to support employment for cooking specialty soldiers about to be discharged.

The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Woo-bong, CEO of Pulmuone Food & Culture, Park Dong-cheol, commander of the Army Personnel Command, and about 10 related officials. This agreement was made with a shared recognition that soldiers who have faithfully completed their military service need more social interest and support as talented individuals equipped with a strong sense of responsibility and expertise.

According to the agreement, Pulmuone Food & Culture plans to hire qualified candidates among cooking specialty soldiers recommended by the Army who are scheduled for discharge. Additionally, both parties will consider expanding the recruitment areas for soldiers scheduled for discharge in the future.

The Army Personnel Command will ▲actively promote Pulmuone Food & Culture's recruitment to soldiers scheduled for discharge ▲recommend outstanding candidates among soldiers scheduled for discharge who meet Pulmuone Food & Culture's hiring requirements and provide related hiring materials ▲and actively support cooperation requests related to military matters.

Pulmuone Food & Culture will ▲provide information on hiring requirements and employment ▲support employment for qualified soldiers scheduled for discharge in areas beyond the food service business ▲and support hiring of candidates who meet selection criteria among those recommended by the Army.

Lee Woo-bong, CEO of Pulmuone Food & Culture, said, “We plan to hire cooking specialty soldiers scheduled for discharge so that those who have dedicated themselves to the country can utilize their expertise and settle stably in society.” He added, “We will strive to cooperate with the Army Personnel Command to recruit soldiers scheduled for discharge in various fields in the future.”
