Sejong Residents Dongyang AK Korea and Nano New Materials Selected as 'Top 100 Small Giants'

[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Dongyang AK Korea Co., Ltd. and Nano Sinsosae Co., Ltd., which are operating businesses in Sejong, have been included in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' ‘Top 100 Small and Medium Materials, Parts, and Equipment Companies’ project list.

According to Sejong City on the 29th, the Top 100 Small and Medium Companies project is a program launched by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups last year to select and intensively nurture 100 promising small and medium enterprises in the domestic materials, parts, and equipment sector.

Selected companies receive up to 18.2 billion KRW in government funding per company for 30 different projects, including research and development, venture investment, commercialization funds, research personnel, export, and marketing, to achieve technological innovation and commercialization results.

Dongyang AK Korea is a company that produces high-quality lightweight aluminum materials for aerospace use, while Nano Sinsosae supplies nanomaterials to the solar power and semiconductor industries.

Lee Chun-hee, Mayor of Sejong City, stated, “We will do our best to provide administrative and financial support so that local companies selected for the Top 100 Small and Medium Companies can grow into global enterprises through the growth ladder.”
