Female Skeleton Presumed Found in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam... Police Investigating

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A skeletonized body was found in a building in Gangnam, Seoul, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

According to the Gangnam Police Station on the 28th, a skeletonized body believed to be female was discovered on the afternoon of the 24th in a building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was reported that no other individuals were present in the building when the police arrived.

The police have sent the body to the National Forensic Service (NFS) for an autopsy. A police official stated, "Based on the on-site investigation and preliminary verbal opinion, it is currently presumed to be a fall death," adding, "We plan to conduct a broad investigation to determine whether there is any possibility of a crime."
