Saemaeul Undong Imsil-gun Branch, Life Preservation Movement Education

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The Saemaeul Movement Imsil-gun Branch (President Kim Jongsu), Saemaeul Leaders Imsil-gun Council (President Wi Jungryang), and Imsil-gun Saemaeul Women's Association (President Park Seonok) announced on the 28th that they conducted education and a campaign for the Life Preservation National Movement with about 20 Saemaeul leaders attending at the Imsil Saemaeul Hall.

The "Life Preservation Movement" is a campaign recognizing the urgent issue of the life crisis caused by climate change and environmental pollution, encouraging Saemaeul leaders to join forces with the public to overcome it.

The education focused on the practical tasks of 1 project (construction of an organic solar power plant), 2 actions (planting trees and kenaf), and 3 reductions (energy, vinyl/plastic, and imported meat), serving as an opportunity to pledge to start from small actions we can practice in our daily lives around us as a lifestyle movement.

Kim Jongsu, president of the Saemaeul branch, emphasized, "The Life Preservation Movement is the best way to protect the environment we will pass on to our future and descendants through our small actions."
