[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] On Thursday the 29th, the entire country will be clear, and morning temperatures in most areas will drop below 5 degrees Celsius, making it chilly. The nationwide morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -2 and 10 degrees Celsius.
In the Gangwon mountain region, northern Chungbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk, a cold wave advisory will be issued as morning temperatures drop more than 10 degrees compared to the previous day (3 to 12 degrees Celsius).
From dawn to morning, frost will form in many inland areas. Ice is expected to form in the central inland regions, eastern Jeonbuk, and inland and mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.
Temperatures are expected to rise to between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius during the day. However, the central region will remain cold with daytime temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius. The Korea Meteorological Administration expects this cold spell to peak on the morning of the day and gradually ease thereafter.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions. However, the Yeongnam area will temporarily experience 'Bad' levels in the early morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1 meter in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the open seas are expected to be 1 to 2 meters in the East Sea and West Sea, and 0.5 to 2 meters in the South Sea. Strong winds and high waves are expected in the southern open sea near Jeju Island and the East Sea open sea. Therefore, vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
