[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 28th at 11 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the Nowon Companion Animal Culture Center ‘Healing, Daengdaeng House’.

‘Healing, Daengdaeng House’ is located at 258 Suraksan-ro (Sanggye 1-dong), and the 132㎡ interior space is designed with a playroom and shelter for abandoned dogs, a program education room, a self-dryer room, and a caf?.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, local district council members, and animal welfare project officials, and proceeded in the order of project progress report, congratulatory speeches, companion dog adoption ceremony, ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tour, and commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “The Companion Animal Culture Center has been created as an open space that any companion family can enjoy,” and added, “We will strive to establish a mature and healthy companion culture.”
