Jeju Island, Recruitment of Participants for Local Job Projects Overcoming COVID-19 Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Government Complex


[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Chang-won] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 28th that it will recruit 102 participants for the 'COVID-19 Overcome Local Job Project' to overcome the employment and local economic crisis caused by COVID-19.


The number of recruits is a total of 102, including 96 personnel for promoting the Jeju local currency 'Tamna Jeon' and receiving franchise registration applications by eup, myeon, and dong, and 6 personnel for fever duty at the government office.


The COVID-19 Overcome Local Job Project is open to any resident aged 18 or older with the ability to work, and priority will be given to hiring vulnerable groups such as low-income individuals and persons with disabilities, as well as residents who lost jobs or closed businesses due to COVID-19.


The application period is from October 28 to November 3, and the working conditions are 40 hours per week on weekdays (Monday to Friday).


Those wishing to participate should bring their ID and visit the eup, myeon, dong office or the provincial government Job Division to apply.


Kang Ae-sook, head of the provincial Job Division, stated, "Separately from the Hope Job Project, we will expand and promote the activation of local currency for local issues by linking it with the local job project."
