Asiana Airlines Offers 20% Payback on Mileage Purchases for Domestic Flights

Expansion of Incheon Airport Lounge Access to Silver+ One Accompanying Person

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Asiana Airlines announced on the 28th that it will hold a payback event returning 20% of mileage to passengers who purchase domestic flight tickets with mileage until the 22nd of next month.

This event targets customers who purchase domestic mileage tickets by November 22 and board between November 1 and December 24. For example, if you purchase a round-trip ticket from Gimpo to Jeju with mileage, 10,000 miles will be deducted, and 2,000 miles will be returned. The payback mileage will be credited collectively on January 8 of next year.

Among the participating passengers, some will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as 20,000 Asiana Club miles, premium wireless earphones, and coffee gifticons.

Additionally, an event for customers using the Incheon International Airport business lounge is also underway. Until December 31 of this year, silver members and one accompanying person will be allowed to use the lounge together. Gold members, who previously could only use the lounge by spending mileage for themselves, can now bring one additional person. The mileage required for lounge use is temporarily discounted from 3,000 miles to 2,000 miles.

An Asiana Airlines official stated, "We have expanded the usage scope and reduced the burden so that customers can use mileage more actively," adding, "We will continue to plan various events to provide more benefits to Asiana Club members."
