[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center is conducting the ‘Korean Medicine Health Experience in Daily Life’ program until November 29.

‘Korean Medicine Health Experience in Daily Life’ is an immunity enhancement program that combines various contents operated by the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center to provide visitors with experiences, in response to the recent growing social interest in health management.

The detailed programs include ▲ ‘Happiness for 10,000 Won,’ a package experience allowing visitors to enjoy all representative programs of the center, from foot baths, Boje-won, to Korean herbal tea, for 10,000 won ▲ ‘Herbal Tea and Medicinal Herb Foot Bath,’ which issues beverage coupons usable at the center’s Korean medicine cafe to visitors who try the foot bath experience ▲ ‘Korean Medicine Workshop,’ where participants can make simple Korean medicine items such as Qi-blood tea bags and medicinal herb foot bath salts themselves.

The program is available to everyone and can be applied for at the front desk on the day of the visit without a separate reservation. For more details, please contact the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center.

You Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “Through this program prepared by the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy Korean medicine experiences and take care of their health,” adding, “I hope all visitors follow the social distancing guidelines well and enjoy a safe cultural life.”

Meanwhile, the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center (Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean Medicine Museum) reopened on October 13 following the adjustment of social distancing to Level 1, and is operating the Korean medicine museum exhibitions, outdoor foot bath experiences, Boje-won Korean medicine experience rooms, and more normally.
