[Today’s Weather] Strong Cold Winds in the Afternoon... Fine Dust Levels Bad in Some Areas On the 26th, when the weather was cool and autumnal, citizens visiting Jogyesa Temple in Jongno-gu, Seoul, are viewing the '10th Jogyesa Chrysanthemum Fragrance Sharing Exhibition' decorated with chrysanthemums.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Wednesday the 28th, the whole country will experience mostly cloudy and overcast weather, gradually clearing up from the afternoon.

Between early dawn and 9 a.m. today, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected mainly in the central inland and northern inland areas of Gyeongbuk, and other inland areas may also experience fog with visibility less than 1 km.

The temperature difference between day and night will be large, so health care should be taken. The morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as △Seoul 10°C △Chuncheon 9°C △Gangneung 13°C △Daejeon 10°C △Cheongju 11°C △Daegu 11°C △Busan 13°C △Jeonju 10°C △Gwangju 11°C △Jeju 16°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 14°C.

The daytime high temperatures will be △Seoul 17°C △Chuncheon 18°C △Gangneung 19°C △Daejeon 18°C △Cheongju 17°C △Daegu 20°C △Busan 21°C △Jeonju 19°C △Gwangju 19°C △Jeju 19°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 18°C.

Fine dust concentration will be 'bad' in Chungbuk and 'normal' in other regions. However, due to the influx of foreign fine dust, the metropolitan area, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Gangwon regions may temporarily experience 'bad' levels in the morning, and the Yeongnam region may see 'bad' levels at night.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "The atmosphere is very dry in Gangwon Yeongdong and the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, so fire prevention should be carefully observed. Strong winds and high waves are expected in the offshore areas of the West Sea, so ships navigating or fishing should exercise caution."
