Inha University Graduate School Ranks First in Per Capita Scholarship Amount Among Private Universities... Full Coverage Expanded for New Students Inha University

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Inha University Graduate School has been found to provide the highest amount of scholarship benefits per student among private schools.

According to an analysis of the Ministry of Education's university information disclosure system 'University Alimi,' Inha University Graduate School ranked first in scholarship benefits per student among private schools with more than 500 enrolled students, the university announced on the 27th.

Since last year, Inha University Graduate School has implemented a full scholarship system for outstanding new graduate students. This year, the full scholarship system was reorganized to allow new students to fully concentrate on their studies and research.

The advisor recommendation scholarship was restructured into 'INSTAR Scholarship I' and 'INSTAR Scholarship II,' enabling a wider range of new students to receive scholarships.

'INSTAR Scholarship I' targets master's, integrated, and doctoral students, while 'INSTAR Scholarship II' is for doctoral students. New students recommended by their desired advisors from departments selected for the 4th phase BK21 Project and professional manpower training projects are also eligible to apply.

The existing 'Inha Vision Scholarship' continues to operate. It provides full tuition support to full-time doctoral applicants with excellent research achievements or academic records. Additionally, the 'Tuition Scholarship' system offers differential support ranging from 30% to 100% of tuition fees for high-achieving students, and the Industry-Academia-Research Scholarship provides 1 to 2 million KRW per semester.

Furthermore, Inha University has nine research groups (teams) selected for the Ministry of Education's 4th phase BK21 Project, and the scholarship system's implementation period has been extended to allow outstanding talents to focus more stably on their research.

Meanwhile, applications for the graduate school started on October 19 and will close on November 6. Interviews will be held from November 17 to 23, and successful candidates will be announced on December 14.

Hwang Wonseop, Dean of Inha University Graduate School, said, "We have continuously reformed the scholarship system to ensure that new students receive full scholarship benefits," adding, "We hope many outstanding talents will enroll this semester and realize their dreams at Inha University."
