[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Inje University announced on the 27th that its Department of Digital Anti-Aging Healthcare has been selected for the Ministry of Education's graduate school support project, the '4th Phase BK21 Plus' project.


The newly selected Inje University Digital Anti-Aging Convergence Education and Research Group was consecutively selected for the 4th Phase BK21 Plus project following the Creative Industry Convergence Specialized Talent Training Project, a graduate manpower training project led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.


The Department of Digital Anti-Aging Healthcare at Inje University, selected for this large-scale government project supporting master's and doctoral level talents, will receive approximately 3.3 billion KRW in funding over the next seven years starting this year.


With the selection for the 4th Phase BK21 project, graduate students will receive special research scholarships covering 85% of tuition fees, 700,000 KRW per month for master's students, 1,300,000 KRW per month for doctoral students, and 3,000,000 KRW per month for new researchers. Research scholarships will also be provided for research outcomes such as paper publications, patent applications, and product exhibitions.


Jeon Min-hyun, president of Inje University, said, "We have achieved a great result to advance graduate education and research capabilities in the anti-aging field and to nurture global creative talents at the master's and doctoral levels, aiming to become a core base of the global anti-aging industry." He added, "We will spare no effort and support to ensure the smooth progress of the project."
