Changwon National University and Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute Sign "Business Agreement" ... "Joint Promotion of National and Local Government Projects"

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Changwon National University announced on the 27th that it has signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with the Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute to jointly promote national and local government projects.

The signing ceremony held at the Changwon National University Industry-Academia Cooperation Group was attended by Lee Jae-hyun, Vice President for Research and Industry-Academia Cooperation at Changwon National University, related personnel from the Industry-Academia Cooperation Group, professors from the Department of Industrial Systems and Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, and researchers including Shin Chung-soo, Senior Researcher at the Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute.

According to this agreement, the university and the research institute will mutually cooperate in ▲joint promotion of national and local government projects ▲joint use of institutional research facilities and equipment ▲sharing of information and data ▲exchange for the establishment project of the Small and Medium High-Speed Ship Design Support Center ▲maintenance and dissemination of the achievements of the Smart Marine System ICC.

Lee Jae-hyun, Vice President for Research and Industry-Academia Cooperation at Changwon National University, stated, "Through industry-academia cooperation with the Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute centered on our university’s Department of Industrial Systems and Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, we will actively promote exchange and cooperation to contribute to the substantial development of both institutions and the leap forward of South Korea’s shipbuilding industry."
