SI Village "50% Payback When You Buy Luxury Goods"


[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Shinsegae International is holding the "Once a Year to Enjoy Luxury to the Fullest" event until the 31st of this month, offering the best discounts of the year.


As part of Shinsegae Group's "Korea SSG Day," this event strengthens benefits through Shinsegae International's online mall SI Village in line with the untact consumption trend and has newly launched Naver Shopping Live.


During the event period, SI Village offers discounts of up to 80% on more than 50 fashion, beauty, and living brands, and on SSG Day, the 31st, customers can earn up to 50% of their payment amount in e-points. E-points can be used for future purchases on SI Village.


This is a great opportunity to purchase high-end overseas brands like Armani, Maison Margiela, and Herno, which customers have had their eyes on, or winter coats. Additional discounts are available when paying with Samsung Card and KakaoPay.


From the 26th, SI Village will hold a One Day Deal event selling new products at special prices every day. Selected brands for each day will be sold at up to 80% off, and 20% of the payment amount will be credited as e-points.


Emporio Armani's fur jacket and padded coat, originally priced at 970,000 KRW, will be sold for 339,000 KRW each, and with payback benefits, the actual discount is even greater.


Additionally, customers who visit SI Village and check in will receive e-points, and the first 10,000 customers each day will receive a 10% shopping bag discount coupon.


Shinsegae International will also sell carefully selected products from new brands at super special prices every evening at 7 PM starting from the 26th through Naver Shopping Live, a rapidly growing sales channel following the untact trend. Especially on the last day of the event, the 31st, an all-day relay live broadcast will run from 11 AM to 11 PM, selling popular products from fashion, beauty, and living brands.


On Naver Shopping Live, fashion brand Ten Months’ new 100% cashmere knitwear will be sold at a 40% discount for 107,000 KRW, and lifestyle brand Jaju’s most popular pajama set will be sold at a 50% discount for 24,950 KRW.


For customers who enjoy offline shopping, events are also prepared. On the 31st, flagship stores in Cheongdam such as Sacai, Alexander Wang, Emporio Armani, and Fontana Milano 1915 will offer up to 30% discounts (excluding some items). At VDL stores inside Shinsegae Department Stores nationwide, discounts of up to 50% will be available, and domestic fashion brands under Shinsegae International such as BOB and Studio Tomboy will sell new products at 20% off.


Meanwhile, Shinsegae’s living and lifestyle brand Casamia is holding its first-ever 50% payback event. The payback event applies to about 100 brands listed on 'Good.com,' a lifestyle specialty online mall operated by Casamia, as well as Casamia’s online-exclusive brand Onion.


Until the 1st of next month, customers purchasing eligible furniture and accessories can receive 50% of their payment amount back as mileage to be used like cash on Good.com. In offline stores, to commemorate SSG Day, newly released mattresses and toppers, sofas, electric desks, and functional accessories across various categories will be sold at discounts of up to 60%.
