The new product is the successor to the Black Edition series, LG Electronics' premium Styler model introduced in 2018. It features enhanced functions and design compared to the previous model.
LG Electronics applied the upgraded patented Moving Hanger, called 『Moving Hanger Plus』, to the new product. The hanger stand height was increased by up to 2.5 centimeters (cm) compared to the previous model, considering longer clothes. Also, the method of hanging clothes, which was previously from top to bottom, has been changed to hang from the side inward, making it convenient even when hanging heavy clothes.
By inserting the newly added 『Pants Film』 into the pants management device between the pants, the film presses inside the pants to hold the crease line.
The door design, which also functions as a mirror, has changed. The door retains the same black tint color as before, but the diamond edge design on the corners adds a touch of luxury.
The LG Tromm Styler Black Edition 2 can manage up to six garments at once, including one pair of pants. The price is 2.09 million KRW.
The Tromm Styler is a new home appliance that consolidates LG Electronics' differentiated lifestyle appliance technology. It took nine years for research and development, and holds 220 global patents. It meets customers' needs who want to wear clothes that cannot be washed daily cleanly and neatly, leading a new concept of clothing care culture.
TrueSteam, made by boiling water at 100 degrees Celsius (℃), helps with deodorization, sterilization, and wrinkle reduction of clothes.
The proprietary Moving Hanger shakes clothes up to 200 times per minute, evenly removing fine dust that is difficult to eliminate with wind alone and reducing everyday wrinkles.
The low-temperature dehumidification method using an Inverter Heat Pump, as in the Tromm dryer, reduces fabric damage. This product, equipped with a dehumidifier function, can dehumidify up to 10 liters, keeping the dressing room where the Styler is installed fresh.
The Tromm Styler was recognized globally for its differentiated technology by winning the CES Innovation Awards for two consecutive years at CES 2020, the world's largest home appliance exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, earlier this year. It also won the main prize at the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2020.
