According to Pohang City on the 27th, the subtitle of this international forum, organized by the '11.15 Earthquake Geothermal Power Joint Research Team' (Head Jeong Sang-mo), is 'A New Opportunity Starting from the Lessons of the Pohang Earthquake.' The purpose is to provide a platform for global research on induced earthquakes and offer a stepping stone for overcoming and recovering from earthquake damage, including urban reconstruction and economic revitalization.

Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the opening ceremony and public briefing will be held both online and offline on November 11 at the POSCO International Hall's international conference room.
