[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Kim Seung-yeon, Chairman of Hanwha Group, visited the funeral hall of Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee on the 26th and described it as the saddest day.

On that day, Chairman Kim visited the funeral hall at Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Chairman Lee's funeral was held, and said of Chairman Lee, "I treated him like an elder brother."

He refrained from commenting when asked by reporters about anecdotes with Chairman Lee during his lifetime.

Chairman Kim visited the funeral hall and said to the bereaved family, "I only offered words of consolation," as he bid farewell to the late chairman.
