MyRealTrip Obtains Information Security Management System Certification 'ISMS-P'

About 40% of 130 Employees Are Tech Talents... Aiming to Be a 'Travel Super App'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] MyRealTrip, a travel product brokerage platform operated by CEO Lee Dong-gun, announced on the 26th that it has obtained the 'ISMS-P' certification, an information security and personal information protection management system certification conducted by the government.

ISMS-P, certified by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT, is a system that proves that a series of measures and activities for customer information protection and personal information protection comply with nationally accredited certification standards. To obtain the certification, it is necessary to pass conformity evaluations for 80 information security management system criteria and 22 personal information protection management system criteria.

MyRealTrip, which provides services in all travel-related fields including flights, accommodations, tickets, passes, and restaurants, has re-verified personal information security by acquiring the ISMS-P certification and has strengthened its position as a 'travel tech' company. MyRealTrip has prioritized customer satisfaction and enhancement of personal information protection by emphasizing service convenience and stability with the goal of becoming a 'travel super app' where travelers can easily pay for all necessary products. About 40% of the company's total 130 employees are responsible for technology, through which they have advanced the app service and organized the overall management system for personal information protection.
