At the Emergency Committee meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Chairman Kim said, "What is the reason that ruling party lawmakers are fiercely questioning the Prosecutor General appointed by the President during the National Assembly audit?" and added, "I have serious doubts about whether such a scene is normal in a country practicing parliamentary democracy."

Chairman Kim pointed out, "Even if the Minister of Justice exercises the authority to direct investigations and forms a new investigation team to probe the Lime and Optimus incidents, who can trust the results?"
