[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 26th that it will conduct safety inspections of facilities at four major local tourist attractions from the 26th to the 27th.


The inspection targets include Sejong Lake Park, Sejong Central Park, Bear Tree Park, and Jeonwolsan Camping Site.


The city plans to check whether the COVID-19 quarantine system is properly established and operated at these locations, as well as inspect structural cracks, ground conditions, safety railings, and safety sign attachments around the tourist sites (park facilities).


Minor issues found during the inspection will be immediately corrected, and permanent facility repairs or renovations requiring budget will be notified to the managing entities and managed until improvements are made.


Kang Seong-gi, Director of the Citizen Safety Office of the city, said, “We will do our best to ensure safety management so that tourists can use the tourist facilities with peace of mind.”
