Jongno-gu SNS Reporters Conducting 'Neodu Nadu Photo Exhibition'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jongno-gu (Mayor Kim Young-jong) will hold the Jongno Media Mate SNS Reporters Photo Exhibition - ‘Neodu Nadu Photo Exhibition’ online and offline from October 13 to November 13.

From October 13 to 27, the exhibition can be viewed through Jongno-gu’s official SNS channels such as blog, Instagram, Facebook, and KakaoStory, and from October 30 to November 13, visitors can directly appreciate the works at the Urban Gallery in Cheongjin Park (146-3 Cheongjin-dong, Jongno-gu).

‘Jongno Media Mate,’ which quickly and efficiently delivers major policies and district news using SNS channels, is a citizen reporter group of Jongno-gu that creates various content such as articles, photos, and videos to share news with residents.

The district prepared this photo exhibition to promote the activities of the SNS reporters and widely share the beauty and charm of Jongno, conducting it by linking online and offline due to the impact of COVID-19.

This photo exhibition will display a total of 15 photos capturing various scenes around Jongno taken by the Jongno Media Mate SNS reporters. The offline exhibition will be an outdoor display using the Urban Gallery exhibition booth installed inside Cheongjin Park.

The online exhibition will feature a 3D video reproduction, allowing visitors to feel as if they are actually viewing the photo works in a gallery. Additionally, the district is holding an event until October 27 where visitors who browse the online exhibition and vote for their favorite works will be entered into a draw to receive mobile gift certificates and other prizes.

Mayor Kim Young-jong said, “I deeply thank the SNS reporters who are working hard to promote the Jongno where they live and to inform neighbors of necessary information before anyone else,” and added, “I hope many people will show interest in this photo exhibition that breaks down the boundaries between online and offline.”

Jongno-gu operates five SNS channels including KakaoTalk (Jongno-gu Office), blog, and Instagram to activate communication with residents and promote district administration. It also runs the Jongno Media Mate SNS reporters group composed of 15 residents to deliver news about Jongno and conduct various events. Residents who wish to receive news from Jongno quickly can search for Jongno-gu Office on KakaoTalk and add the channel.
