Gwangju Seo-gu Chipyeong Village Project 'Family Event' Held

Family Golden Bell and Family Forest Picnic Experience Event

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 25th that the Chipyeong Village Project ‘Chipyeong Viva’ (Exciting Nature Exploration Team Saenagaon Seo-gu Youth Culture House Siso Center) held a Family Golden Bell and Family Forest Picnic event.

The event, held on the 24th and 25th at Jangsu Children's Park, was attended by about 40 people and was conducted as a program to learn the history of Chipyeong-dong accurately and experience the nature and ecology of the park.

This event was prepared as part of the 2020 Resident-led Good Village Making Contest project.

Kim Taejin, a member of the Seo-gu Council who participated in the program, said, “It was an opportunity to learn history and nature within the village with family,” and added, “We will continue to strive to support the activation of resident-led village communities.”
