‘ArtPrize Gangnam Again’ Artworks Exhibition at Cheongdam Station Fine Dust Free Zone

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) is holding 'Art Prize Gangnam Again,' where 29 carefully selected artworks exhibited at the successful '2020 Art Prize Gangnam' in Nonhyeon Furniture Street can be viewed again, at the 'Fine Dust Free Zone' of Cheongdam Station on Subway Line 7 until November 17.

The district held the large-scale art competition 'Art Prize Gangnam' in an 'Ontact' format from the 9th to the 18th around Nonhyeon Furniture Street so that residents exhausted by COVID-19 could easily access culture and arts without burden.

Along with this, the special exhibition 'Protective Clothing Exhibition,' which was presented as part of 'Art Prize Gangnam,' is being held in the lobby on the first floor of Gangnam Severance Hospital located in Dogok-dong until the 30th of this month.

The 'Protective Clothing Exhibition,' expressing gratitude to all medical staff working hard on COVID-19 prevention, is an exhibition of works made from protective clothing by 20 representative Korean artists including Hwang Iseul, who made hanbok for the idol group BTS, and calligrapher Kang Byung-in. Reflecting visitors' wishes that the works be directly delivered to medical staff, the protective clothing was delivered to the hospital.

On the 13th, Gangnam-gu's 'live commerce' broadcast jointly conducted with the portal site 'Naver' as a side event of 'Art Prize Gangnam' received great response, raising expectations for new sales channels for small business owners facing management difficulties.
