[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jung Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, announced the start of the event and cheered on the participants at the opening ceremony of the 'Ontact International Peace Marathon' held on the 24th at the COEX K-POP Square in Samseong-dong.

Mayor Jung participated in the 5km category and ran along Yangjaecheon Stream.

On this day, Gangnam-gu hosted the 'Ontact International Peace Marathon,' where 3,700 participants started simultaneously, and the live race footage was broadcast online and on large media screens in real time.

All participation fees were donated to organizations working hard to overcome COVID-19.
