Hanwool New Ul Headquarters Supports Daily Necessities for Local Children's Centers with 'Traditional Market Day' Event
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Headquarters held a shopping event on the 23rd at Namchang Onggijongi Traditional Market in Ulju-gun to support daily necessities for local children's centers.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Saewool Headquarters held the ‘Traditional Market Day’ event to support daily necessities purchased at traditional markets for vulnerable children.
Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head Han Sang-gil) held a shopping event on the morning of the 23rd at Namchang Onggijongi Traditional Market in Ulju-gun to send daily necessities to seven regional children’s centers in the southern area of Ulju-gun.
About 30 people, including the heads of the seven regional children’s centers in the southern area of Ulju-gun and Saewool Headquarters employees, participated in the event and purchased daily necessities worth approximately 3.5 million won. The purchased items will be delivered to children in need in Onyang-eup, Onsan-eup, and Seosaeng-myeon areas.
Han Sang-gil, head of Saewool Headquarters, said, “We will actively help so that the local community and children do not lose hope,” and added, “Saewool Headquarters will fulfill its social responsibility and role as a public enterprise by revitalizing traditional markets and supporting marginalized groups who are struggling due to COVID-19.”
Saewool Headquarters is carrying out many social contribution activities, including not only traditional market shopping events but also blood donation campaigns, support for daily necessities at senior centers, and scholarships for local talents.
