[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon sarcastically commented on the Democratic Party of Korea's criticism of Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol following the Supreme Prosecutors' Office national audit, saying, "It seems like the fools who were only humiliated by Yoon Seok-yeol in the audit are grumbling together outside the ring out of frustration."

On the 23rd, Jin posted on Facebook, "Is this why the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) is needed? Whether you win in the ring, it becomes a reason for the CIO, and if you lose in the ring, it also becomes a reason for the CIO. The logic circuits of their brains are really interesting," he wrote.

He added, "The highlight was the team-kill play by the comedy duo Kim Nam-guk and Kim Yong-min," saying, "Thanks to Kim Nam-guk, we also learned that Park Sang-ki went to the Prosecutor General to ask for leniency for Cho Kuk, and confirmed that the recently strange JTBC report was false news, so there were some gains."

At the previous day's audit, Representative Kim Nam-guk said, "There is a claim that in the past, Prosecutor General Yoon suggested to Minister of Justice Park Sang-ki that Minister Cho resign." In response, Yoon said, "Former Minister of Justice Park Sang-ki asked to see me on the day of the search of former Minister Cho and asked how leniency could be granted." Opposition party lawmakers raised concerns, saying, "Isn't this an improper request made by former Minister Park to the Prosecutor General?"

Also, citing a JTBC report, Representative Kim Nam-guk said, "A year ago, Kim Bong-hyun and prosecutors visited that place (entertainment establishment), and in April, the Southern District Prosecutors' Office investigated that establishment." Prosecutor General Yoon responded, "Kim Bong-hyun went to the Southern District Prosecutors' Office in May," and said, "I don't understand how the Southern District Prosecutors' Office could have investigated the entertainment establishment in April."

Former professor Jin Joong-kwon continued, "Kim Yong-min's slideshow was also worth watching. They listed all the crimes they have committed so far: Cho Kuk, Choi Kang-wook, Han Myeong-sook, election interference, collusion between prosecutors and media, and so on. It was hilarious. Among the list of prosecutorial sins, they even included Yoon Seok-yeol suing a Hankyoreh newspaper reporter, but that was not false news; it was slander," he pointed out. "The person who got angry and sued because he was called a 'lackey' tells others to endure even when falsely accused of receiving sexual favors."

Furthermore, he said, "What about Park Beom-gye? 'Seok-yeol hyung has changed.' Changed? What has he changed? Is that person someone who would change?" He added, "The one who turned 180 degrees is himself. He has written articles and spoken words, so what on earth is he talking about? This is a typical trait of the Democratic Party."
