Having been nominated by Gu Chunggon, the governor of Hwasun-gun, Governor Choi posted a photo on SNS holding a sign that read "Thank you, essential workers."

This campaign was launched to support essential workers such as healthcare professionals and delivery drivers who inevitably have to perform face-to-face duties amid the crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19.

Governor Choi said, "Despite the difficult circumstances caused by COVID-19, essential workers in healthcare, caregiving, delivery, and courier services are risking their safety and doing their best on the front lines through face-to-face work.
