[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Professor Seo Min of Dankook University, a member of the writing team for 'A Country Never Experienced Before' (Joguk Heukseo), strongly criticized some ruling party lawmakers from the Legislation and Judiciary Committee who condemned Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol during the National Assembly's Supreme Prosecutors' Office audit on the 22nd, calling them "nothing but a horde of zombies."
In a post published on his blog on the 23rd, Professor Seo said, "Watching the Democratic Party henchmen gang up on Prosecutor General Yoon on TV without thinking made my body tremble with anger," adding, "Look at those mouths that last July at the confirmation hearing insisted that Yoon Seok-yeol was the true prosecutor the era desired, now shouting that Yoon is a corrupt political prosecutor."
Regarding Prosecutor General Yoon's statement during the audit on the 22nd that "legally, the Prosecutor General is not subordinate to the Minister of Justice," and Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Yong-min's retort, "Then are you friends?" Professor Seo pointed out, "Is the Prosecutor General's claim that he is not a subordinate of Chu Mi-ae such a treason that they have to cling to it for hours?"
He then strongly criticized, "They are not human but merely a horde of zombies trying to bite normal humans."
Professor Seo expressed, "With such thoughts, writing about Kim Nam-guk, Yoon Mee-hyang, and others felt futile," and lamented, "What good is it to curse those who cannot understand even if you speak, who only stagger forward with outstretched hands?"
He added, "I send my respect to Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who does not take off his prosecutor's robe despite being insulted," and "I also look forward to the day when they will stand before Yoon dressed in prison uniforms."
