From the 27th for 4 days... Live YouTube Broadcast Without Audience
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Amid the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the '16th Dream Tree National Swimming Competition,' which had been postponed several times, will be held for four days starting on the 27th at the Gimcheon Indoor Swimming Pool.
Hosted by the Korea Swimming Federation, this competition will feature about 530 middle school division athletes only. Although social distancing has been adjusted to Level 1, Gimcheon City has restricted the participation of elementary school division athletes to prevent cluster infections.
Entry to the venue is allowed only to those holding QR codes assigned to essential personnel such as athletes, coaches, and referees. The density is also minimized to around 50 people per race during the competition.
Held without spectators, all events will be live-streamed on YouTube for parents who cannot visit the venue.
