Welcron Hantec Signs 19.7 Billion KRW Contract for New RF Tech Office Building Construction

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Welcron Hantech announced on the 23rd that it has signed a contract worth 19.7 billion KRW for the construction of a new office building with RF Tech, a manufacturer of 5G base station antennas and mobile components.

This contract pertains to the construction of the RF Tech office building located in Godeok Biz Valley, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The building will have 5 basement floors, 15 above-ground floors, and a total floor area of 4,615 pyeong. The construction period is until July 2022.

Godeok Biz Valley, covering approximately 70,000 pyeong around 345 Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu, is being developed as a hub for research and development (R&D) and knowledge industries by attracting advanced industries such as medical and IT sectors. About 200 excellent companies, including IKEA, Kyobo Securities, and Cuckoo Electronics, are scheduled to move into Godeok Biz Valley, and the RF Tech office building constructed by Welcron Hantech is the second construction site within the complex.

In September, Welcron Hantech was selected as the contractor for the new Magok research center of Pungwon Chemical, a chemical manufacturing company. The company has been recognized in the industry for its outstanding construction capabilities and technical skills through various R&D-related projects such as the Taeyang 3C office and research center and the Jeongwon CNS office. Additionally, the company is showing rapid growth by expanding its business areas to include office construction and remodeling, as well as public sector projects, such as the new office building in Seonggok-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan City, the Cheonggyecheon Case Square City remodeling project, and the new complex community center in Sejong City.
